A bit of history...

I am a graduate of the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies & Education (NITE) in Mt. Pleasant, MI.  I am also a graduate of Alma College (Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting, cum laude) and Central Michigan University (Master of Science in Administration with an emphasis in Information Resource Management).  

After over 25 years in the nonprofit and higher education worlds, I decided it was time to find "life after desk".  They say, "Sitting is the new smoking!"  In July 2021, I resigned as Director of Financial Aid at Mid Michigan College; and in August 2021, I embarked on a training program to become a Licensed Massage Therapist.  I knew that I had to find a new career that kept me physically active and allowed me to control my own schedule.  Massage therapy fit the bill.  

Many of my clients know that besides needing to get out my desk job (i.e. sit less, move more), the bigger reason I chose this major career change to become a massage therapist had to do with my youngest daughter's struggles with anorexia.  Being present for her has been super important for the past few years.  

I have great clients and am grateful for their support of my small business.
